Injections

A shot at pain relief

Facet Joint Injection:
Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar

The pain relief from a facet joint injection is intended to help a patient better tolerate a physical therapy routine to rehabilitate an injury or back condition.

Epidural Injection:
Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar

Epidural Injections are a common treatment option for many forms of low back pain and leg pain. Epidurals can be very beneficial in providing relief for patients during episodes or severe back pain and allows that patient to progress in their rehabilitation.

Rhizotomy:
Radio Frequency Ablation

Using a local anesthetic and x-ray guidance, a needle with an electrode at the tip is placed along side the small nerves to the facet joint. The electrode is then heated with a technology called radio frequency, to deaden the nerves that carry pain signals to the brain.

Hyalgan Injection:

These injections are similar to substances that occur normally in your joints. A Hyalgan injection help joints to work properly by acting like lubricants or shock absorbers.

Ultrasound Guided Injections

 Joint Injection:

An ultrasound guided joint injection relieves acute or chronic pain and treats swelling. Ultrasound pictures improve precision and the exact location for the injection

Trigger Point Injections:

A trigger point injection is a procedure used to treat painful areas of muscle that contain trigger points, or knots of muscle that form with muscles do not relax.
